ASHEVILLE, N.C., April 12, 2019 — Avadim Health, Inc. and two other Asheville, N.C., companies, Youth with a Mission (YWAM) and Judd Builders, will leave on a mission trip to Mumbai, India, where they will install Theraworx Protect dispensers in 100 brothels. Theraworx Protect, a topical solution developed by Avadim Health, will help women suffering from skin issues get safe, gentle relief.

Chris Vengala of YWAM made a similar trip in 2017 and witnessed positive results from Theraworx Protect. He said in an interview with local news station WLOS, “We took some [Theraworx Protect] to the leprosy colony, and we did a medical camp. Four months later, we got some amazing results that the product was healing the open leprosy wounds.”
There are currently more than 500,000 sex workers in Mumbai, and the goal of the mission trip is to help women not only heal, but also escape sex trafficking and begin the journey to sustainable freedom.
